Title: Private Equity Analyst (Based in Shanghai)

Position Objective
This individual will participate in OrbiMed's activities in China, including sourcing deals, due diligence, market research, networking, establishing the firm's presence and recruiting additional professionals based in China. Additional responsibilities include assisting with investments in other parts of Asia and interacting constructively with OrbiMed colleagues in other offices. This role is important to OrbiMed's expansion in Asia.
Qualifications
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Of Chinese origin and has lived in China for a significant period of time. Should be fluent in both English and Chinese and familiar with the Chinese culture.
- Has at least a Bachelor's degree majoring in life sciences or medical/healthcare-related fields.
- Demonstrated outstanding track record in previous career and/or education.
- 1-2 year work experience in the life sciences and medical/healthcare field, such as top-tier investment banking, consulting and healthcare companies.
